Wish we had room for this kid in last year's class. I've been watching him train under Walt Williams in spectrum in Brusly with a dozen other prospects. Kid is a ripped 230-240 and strong as an mule. To bad he tells me that he reports to the faggies this weekend for camp.

Wish him the best but we had a sick LB haul regardless

No. The only reason that Darian is not a Tiger is that Louisiana has had an odd uptick in the production of top flight LB's over the last few years and the coaching staff favored others over Darian.

Wish we would have had space for him and Otha Peters the year before.

Solid player, but Jones and Beckwith were better fits according to our coaches. I trust their opinion

He would have gotten an offer if he was in this year's class

I agree about Beckwith. Kid is a specimen. At the spring game he was hanging out with Minter, Mingo, Montgomery, and the King of Eunice and was more put together than all of them. I have friends who have watched play many times who say he runs like a deer.

he and alexander are pretty similar as prospects. it really is too bad we could not make room for him last year, but that's recruiting. can't take em all, and we got the best (beckwith).

I liked Claiborne a lot but the staff didn't like his height. Kid can play and would've fit in nicely in the middle of our defense. That said, Melvin Jones was the better prospect. Bigger and just as athletic if not moreso.

I don't see any likeness between DC and Donnie Alexander. Alexander is a missile that realistically could pkay S. He'll never have the bulk of Claiborne nor ever be able to play inside

Claiborne will be a good player for A&M. We don't have room for them all.

Another year he would have been getting more looks. That's how it goes sometimes.wish the kid the best. Always want Louisiana talent to excel in life. Just not as our opponents

Claiborne is under 6 feet which would have made him our shortest linebacker. The future is bright at our OLB spot anyways.
