I hate this because he is learning a new position and he needs all the reps he can get right now.

Yeah...biggest reason this sucks so much. I think if he can get back to get two pre-season games under his belt headed into the regular season, hopefully we should be good.

Confirmed: #Saints Martez Wilson out for 4 weeks w/bruised bicep. He says he'll be back and will be fine.

Well, this is a good thing. It keeps him rested and from getting hurt further before the season starts.

Dancing bananas.

I thought he was gone for the year. Good news indeed.
We are not alone with injuries. Denver lost its starting center and philly has had two acl's etc so its going to happen you can only hope they are not season enders.
Good for Tez!

Think I'm officially more hopeful than having expectations for the LB crew. Just not dreadful might be good enough at this point.

I do wish Mickey would have given my Shaun Phillips idea more consideration. At 32, the ex-Bolt signed a one year $1million contract with Denver- with no guaranteed money. 58 sacks from the 3-4 OLB spot in the past 7 years (9 in 2012).

Still not letting that one go, huh blues?

He seemed like less of a need with Butler still on the roster with Gallett and Tez backing him up.

I wonder if anyone decent will be cut over the next few weeks.

I know, I know, but Tez, Juneyah, Will Smith, and Butler all still equaled zero games starting experience (maybe Butler a few in D) in a 3-4 defense. I thought Phillips cheap and having started 105 games in the past 7 years would have been prudent.

You know what would have been prudent? Picking Jarvis Jones.

(I still like Vaccaro, but not as much as Jones)

But the fact that we've already had a player tear his acl, about 3 other players on the PUP, and now this Tez injury is not a good sign. I realize injuries are part of training camp. But training camp just started.
Only one season ending injury so far to a player who MAY have been a big producer. The bumps and bruises are gonna happen so chill.

10 1/2 sacks, but he's already missed 6 games due to injury.
