Two bolts on each base. you can actually remove just the top portion if you want without unbolting anything

I bought it, sucks thought there wasn't much to research on the net.

Toyota hides predrilled and tapped holes under the weather stripping on the roof, so it bolts directly to the cab. They say they strip easy though, ugh. Hopefully i can get this thing installed without incident.

I can't wait the three or so weeks to take the board out, so I'll rig up something to the tie downs to hold it in for now.

Pool noodles on the crossbars with some straps. Screw wasting money on cradles or saddles.

That's how mine is on top of my Cherokee currently. Only thing that kind of sucks is the backrest has put a nice dent in my roof.

I was reading forums on this topic when I first got my kayak and majority said to haul/or store top side down to relieve tension on the hull.

Eta: especially when strapped down.

Its SportRack and it's a POS to be honest. I like the idea, but the better brands have a roller and better saddles.

I got in the grill I ordered for it today. The TRD sport and Limited models have body color grills, so I bought one and took off the chrome.

Debadged (left Tacoma on tail gate for now) and removed the mud flaps. Both grill and flaps are on ebay.

The rack is going to be killer, I can't wait. Gonna plasti dip the rims and rear bumper desert tan from the camo line. That might not last, but I want to do it anyway.
