Surprised to see no thread from last night. Overall it was a pretty weird episode, and I'm not quite sure where the show is headed. The therapy scene in the beginning was the definite low point of the season. 
Looks like they might have a segway to bring Hannah back in some fashion with that new chick that the nanny is trying to hook Dex up with.

Not sure about this season so far. I'm not crazy about the therapist angle and it felt like last night's episode accomplished very little. For a normal season, I'd be fine but this is it!

Definately a strange episode. I thought it was just me at first, then I asked the group I was watching with and they agreed. There was a lot of dead air during conversations and odd camera angles. I dunno, just weird all the way around.

I'm going to be pissed if Dexter takes on that kid as a student. I mean, shite, that was the story line for season 3 with Miguel.

episode was ok. probably the worst of the season though. stabbing the dude through the mattress with a curtain rod made me roll my eyes.

the "next time on Dexter" showed him put the M-99 in his neck. I bet Dex kills him.
my guess is the scene where Quinn says "i know what you are doing" is Quinn thinking that Dex is tracking the kid to give Quinn info as repaying him for taking care of Deb. Since... ya know... Quinn is a moron.

What's up with the Hamilton kid?
What's up with Hannah?
What's up with his neighbor?
Why are they using so much time on Quinn and the random black chick Miller for the sergeant promotion?
And really, why does Vogel care so much about Dexter and Deb considering we've never heard of her before this the final season of the show?
Just a few things I'd like to have answers on.

I really don't like that they are trying to build a new side character in the final season.
I know that they had to find a replacement for Deb at Miami Metro, but just make her a silent cop and have her show up in the background, but don't even mention her in the story

Question. Where did the jewels go after that guy took them from Deb but later eneded up dead? We don't know for sure the Deb did it. But there was never any mention of the bag of jewels.

well, i see them ending the season one of two ways:
either they kill him (my guess)
or they have him realize that he doesn't need to kill anymore. (which could explain why he has feelings, doesn't kill much anymore)

Yeah because he was hot on Dexter's trail a few seasons ago before Dexter pretty much told him to cut it out and saved his arse from getting caught. It just seems like they have a lot to clear up before the show ends. Which either means there's going to be a lot left on the table when it's over or it will be incredibly convoluted.

I'm trying not to dissect the show being it's the last season. Started off great and has come to a halt the past few episodes. I have faith it will come around and end decently enough. On a side note, I thought the curtain rod kill was pretty cool, though highly unlikely.
