French Quarter Friday Lunch and Saturday Breakfast/Brunch

Getting a hotel for a Friday night wedding in October in the Quarter. Thinking Galatoire's for Friday lunch and Stanley for Saturday breakfast/brunch.
Anyone have any other suggestions that may be better?

Never been to Stanley, but when I looked at the menu I put it at the top of the list.

No reservations for downstairs at Galatoire's so be prepared to arrive early and wait for a table unless you go after lunch or want to eat upstairs.
I'm not sure Stanley takes reservations either. Might want to call. It gets crowded for breakfast.

poor choices on both accounts, IMO. you can do better.

I love Stanley's and eat there (mostly to go) just about every time I stay in the FQ.
