I thought I wanted a Detective Special, but they are smaller than I realized.

Have y'all shot one?

I would rather not shoot a .38 snub nose. Obnoxious is the adjective I'll use.

Get on top of it and they are no harder to shoot than anything else.

I've got a Mod. 10 S&W 38 with a two inch barrel, bobbed hammer, and slicked up trigger that I killed a deer with shooting it double action. Shot it right behind the ear.

I also pulled off the luckiest shot of my life with that pistol when I shot a light stick at 75 yards at night while 'racing' three guys with AR's. Hit it on my first shot.

It's a sweet arse pistol. But it's not a little tiny thing.

I have a S&W 442. Not bad at all. Just have to get used to it. MFers are loud as shite.

I've shot S&W snubbies in .38, they were everywhere after the first shot unless I stopped and took my time aiming. Shot a S&W .357 snubbie a few times, that's all I have to say about that.

I've qualified on a LE course of fire on a snub nose many times. The trick is shooting perfect up until you get to the 25 yard line because you probably won't even hit the target from that distance.

It is very important to have a really good grip on the gun. Small grips are useless.

My MOM has a little Rossi .38 snub. Accuracy isn't exactly its strong suit. But it goes bang.

I enjoy shooting 38 special;
out of my 4" 357.

My snubby is snappy as hell and I only shoot it enough to stay minute of zombie at close range.

That was my goal. Still gonna use the .45 for carry.

Just want one to want one, really.
