From Pac - 12 media day today:

quote:

"In our heart of hearts, we were better than 7-6."

From his interview with Maisel 2 days ago:

quote:

"We were a 9-4 football team, our record didn't show that."

Interview after playing Oregon in 2012:

quote:

"I don't believe the score is indicative of their football team as compared to ours"

Please hire this man for life, Huskies.

Sark is a good coach, they just spent 250 million on their stadium, and you lost Chip.

Should probably shut up.

All of those quotes are pretty normal quotes from coaches of a mediocre team that actually has potential to be better.

I don't see the problem.

Did you see their dumpster fire of an oline? They were lucky to get wins against Oregon State and Stanford. They could've been easily 5-7 as much as 9-4.

It's not grounded in reality.

Likewise, they got garbage scores against Oregon.

It's about put-up-or-shut-up time for Sarkisian, one would imagine... I realize they were winless, but he's been there for what, 5 years now?... and they seem to be treading water.

Personally, I don't think he'll ever take that next step at UW, but we'll see...

How dare a coach who lost to Washington state by three in ot and by two to Boise St. Say his team could have won those. They weren't even competitive!

They also were lucky to beat Stanford and Oregon State.

How is it not grounded in reality for a coach to believe they should have won two close losses?

Again, not sure you know what delusional means.

Wait sorry I'm still confused about something.....

People care enough about the PAC-12 for it to have a media day? Color me skeptical

Read this. UW was lucky to get several wins as well. That team last year was not a 9-4 team.

That's what he was referring to with those quotes. We missed 2 easy field goals in each game that would have won it. In the end though, a win is a win and a loss is a loss.

Come on man. You call him delusional and then you use the exact same logic that he did, but in reverse?
