2004 and 2005, he was performing at a high level and was very young. I'd be excited to see what the future had but the injury changes everything. I would've done the same thing, and it would've been just as wrong, not stupid but wrong.

2009, they were weak with shabby and weaker during the norv/rivers era. The specifics are irrelevant. The division sucked and continually got worse.

Because all QBs are elite after their first 20 games.

none of them play defense… and defense wins championships...

that year they came close to the Super Bowl in '07 they were getting a lot of turnovers. They weren't that bad giving up yardage either.

hell, even that AFC Championship vs. the Pats, they picked off Brady 3 times. But of course, Rivers and LT were both hurt. Pretty amazing that Rivers even played that game.

As an Eagles fan, I have no dog in this fight. Also, as an Eagles fan, I will say that the above comment is idiotic. Brees is a top QB of the 2000's behind only Brady and Manning.

Hell, McNabb was twice as good as Rivers and I couldn't wait until they ran #5 out of Philly

I see Brady manning and brees in a tight race with manning slightly ahead of Brady slightly ahead of brees and all of that could change or be more discernible in a year or two.

yeah I think that is right.

to me, that season symbolized their tough luck more than any other.

Good post. Brady and Manning are interchangeable IMO, depending on your preference. Brees is right behind them with Rodgers making a good claim.

It pisses me off that T.O. acted like such an arse, because I think McNabb could have been a great one, but he couldn't do it with Thrash and Pinkston as his starting WRs. McNabb, Westbrook, and T.O. it is hard to find a better trio in the 2000's if T.O. would have shut up and played football instead of doing situps in his driveway.

Lot of respect for him

But that decision seems to have ruined his career or atleast stunted it
