Big meeting in January.

I think at the end of the day there will be 4 or 5 mega conferences in the new playoff division.

There will be some wheeling and dealing in the fall

It's a damn shame how much the media and television markets have changed the scope of college sports.

lol, quit letting 1AA schools move up to 1A and it would fix half your problem

Id love that crop

I think all would be attainable but Texas, and I think Ok and Ok state fall in with them.

I think that is what Emmert is getting at. He specifically mentions the great disparity in athletic budgets. Create a mid major division and I think that would solve the problem.

I think the most likely outcome at this point is that that 1-A and 1-AA will split into separate divisions. The non-football, power basketball (Big East, WCC) conferences will also move up.

The SEC becomes a megaconference with the following divisions:

East: Bama, Tulane, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Vandy, Kentucky, Sewanee, Tennessee, Auburn

West: LSU, Texas, A&M, Oklahoma, Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma State, Florida State, Southern Cal

If either division champion has 2 fewer losses on the season, the SECCG is cancelled and the better record automatically wins the championship.
