I buy more beer than I drink. I only drink 2-3 beers a week, but I try to make them count, so I'm always bringing home different kinds of beers. Even when I discover the ultimate beer, I'm always buying something I've never tried before.

Now I'm moving in a few weeks and my wife has laid down the law and I cannot bring home any beer until I finish what's in my beer fridge. I took inventory.

Bell's Hopslam - 4
Bell's Two Hearted Ale - 2
Russian River Consecration - 2
RR Pliny the Elder - 2
Dogfish Head 90 minute IPA - 2
Abita Amber - 6
Cigar City Jai Lai - 2
Hair of the Dog Adam - 1

It's gonna be tough, but I need to start working on this...

ETA: Updated inventory.

I have very little commercial beer on reserve. I have maybe a dozen or so different beers in the closet, but those are for aging and not immediate consumption (mostly barleywines). On tap I have a saison, a rose hiscus farmhouse ale, a brett pale ale, and a California common.

How the hell do you have 4 Hopslam left?!?! I would have pounded that within days of getting it. It's not getting any fresher!

I don't even want to attempt it. I have a shelf FULL of stouts and porters and whatnot. Semi-aging. I have another box with some aging.
Then I have a mini fridge full of rando's
And at least a half shelf full of other stuff
Throw in my brother's michelob, budlight, abita, and something else.... I'm ready to party

Not much.

Ommegang Abbey Ale - 3 (my favorite It's hard not to crack one now that I'm thinking about it)

Brooklyn Local 1 Belgian Pale Ale bomber - 1
Brooklyn Local 2 Belgian Belgian Strong Dark bomber - 1

I'm very interested in trying these. I need to have some more good days on my diet before I open, though.

Yep. Moving to Portland in a few weeks after a few months of traveling to and fro. I had been focusing on the new beers from the West Coast, as I was like a kid in a candy store. But the last couple of weeks I have been buying some beers that I can't get on the West Coast - last hurrah, I guess.
