This is a ridiculous question on so many levels. Monty and Dell are both starting the 1st year of a 4 year extension so for either to get fired would pretty much require a personal breakdown that made them stop doing their job. Stop being a Pelicant. This team is going to be so much better and so much more fun to watch than last year.

Depends on how good/bad we look at missing the playoffs. If its another 27 win season, it's quite possible for Demps. It's a virtual lock for Monty.
We'll either make the playoffs, or miss out in the final week which MAY save their jobs.

Yeah I think both he and Monty get 2 years with this new core group and if it doesn't pan out by then....you probably have to make a change....

It won't happen.
I have a feeling this team is going to be the surprise team of the season to the fair weather fan. Ryno is going to get so many open looks. I really believe we make the playoffs this year in a tough western conference.

I'm going to be pissed as frick if we don't make the playoffs. It'll mean a team of mediocrity. We'll have derailed the rebuilding process and given the sixers a top 14 pick.
All our cap space will be locked up for years if our key guys aren't good enough to make a playoff run. We won't be able to trade for too much talent if our acquisitions turn us into a mediocre team for the future.
This is a make or break year IMO. Somebody better get the axe if we miss the playoffs.

Derailing the rebuilding process is signing guys like Peja and Posey. Gordon is the only player on the roster that I'd have concerns about trading for value, and it's quite possible we see a new and improved Gordon this year who will up his trade stock. If this doesn't work, swapping out the parts around Davis shouldn't be a problem.
