Lsu red zone offense lost most of the games last year. We seem to be able to score from far out but when we get in pay dirt, we kick a field goal.

LSU was 36th in the nation in RZ eff. made 53 trips, scored 45 times. kicked a FG 18 times. scored a TD 27 times.

85% scoring is not optimal but far from terrible.

alabama got into red zone 9 more times than LSU but played one more game. their percentage was 90.

But we were 102 in TD% with only 50.94%. That was our problem. Too many FGs.

I am still waiting on league champs to let us know how crowton was held back at lsu. Must have been held back at Maryland too. I'm sure that I will probably have to spit coffee out reading that explanation.

Miles play calling strategy is "Run it again".

They run a running play for 6 yards, then he quickly yells "run it again"...they run the same play for 2 yards. 3rd and two. Sack. Punt.

Looks like the numbers didn't confuse you.... but we had an 85% scoring percentage. Not to mention only 6 passing TD's. Yup our red zone offense was good...

The rant has never believed this, and will never accept it, even though the play calling has changed drastically with each OC. 12 pages, ~5 slapfights.

You are correct, especially in light of the kick-azz performance the defense displayed in that game.
