Do you expect to see LSU offer Cameron Sims if one or two of our main receiver targets commit elsewhere? He's 6'4" 190 and ESPN has him as the #6 WR in the class (and he is from Monroe,LA). I personally like big receivers so I say we go after him.

But I'll add this for the poster you were replying to. It's not so much that Sims isn't interested, but there's an understanding that the ship has sailed, so he's not trying to get LSU interested any more.
If he was interested, he would have camped. And shown up for the opportunity sessions at camp. He did neither.

1. We are not recruiting Cameron Sims.
2. We are not GOING to recruit Cameron Sims.
3. Cameron Sims will not go onto our board without a mass exodus of every other LA receiver.
4. Even if there was a mass exodus of every other LA receiver and we started to recruit Cameron Sims, he would not come here.
5. Please stop talking about Cameron Sims.
6. Cameron Sims isn'thappening.
Second-tier LA players do not deserve an offer merely by virtue of their state of residence. It's great to keep the in-state talent, but when you have 10 players on the board who are better than an LA guy and 7 of them want to play for us, there is no reason to get down to that #10 spot.

If you think that if Sims showed up at camp last week, he would not have been invited to opportunity sessions and would not have been given a hard look, you're crazy.
Does not mean he would have gotten offered if he came, especially if he ran another bad 40. But don't fool yourself. He's good enough to have gotten another hard look if he came.
So from that standpoint, the lack of interest IS mutual.

Just because he is composite #87 player with the recruiting sites doesn't mean he is that highly rated with the coaching staff. They offer guys based on what they feel about said player and the other WR recruits they are interested in.

LOL! You obviously never slept with the hot cheerleader because if my date was second tier and I had a chance to frick the hot slut then yeah I'm dumping my ugly one and headed to pound town with the Prom Queen while you jerk off to her.
