I don't think it is a terrible prediction is my point. As we have seen year after year, it is extremely hard to predict a Les Miles coached football team. We could beat Bama, A&M, and Florida and struggle against really bad squads and maybe drop one or two we shouldn't.

I'd take that season in a heartbeat. Beating Bama and aTm would be sufficient to me.

If LSU loses to Ole Miss, the 5 SEC games in a row will be the excuse.

As long as Alabama's prediction isn't true, I agree.

i like the prediction. ole miss is at the end of 5 straight SEC games and 3 of 4 on the road.

of course if these all are correct we could beat bama, and they could go to atlanta and possibly be playing for another NC.

but i'm tired of all this unfair scheduling talk, just beat the team in front of you...

is it not valid?

you know, since no one else in the SEC plays 5 in a row with 3 on the road?

and the most bama plays in a row is 3 (arky, tenn, and UK) and 1 of those are on the road.

edit: i stand corrected both mizzou and state play 6 in a row. both have 3 on road in that stretch and both are pretty murderous. so 3 out of 14 teams in SEC get the short end.

Not IMO. 5 games isn't that long. It's pretty standard for most playoffs.

and i'd be fine with it if everyone went through the same playoff system.

yet in your example you have Bama losing to the team in front of them and still winning a national title.

LSU is 3-2 the last 5 meetings against Ole Miss. Only 2011 was a blowout. In fact, the other 2 LSU wins were both by 6 points. Vegas had Ole Miss as the favorite this year when the lines were released. I don't think LSU loses, but it's not a prediction that you can just laugh off and not discuss.

You're absolutely right, but this thread is a great way to determine what posters you should not value their opinions.

We once beat undefeated #1 ranked defending national champion Florida ending their 25 game SEC win streak and got whooped by Ole Miss the next week
