Were thinking about getting a dog soon, and i finally convinced the mrs that labs are the best dogs ever.
Where in BR or surrounding area can i get one? Does anyone breeds them around here?

I'm sure the OB would have some pretty good lab recommendations.

I grew up with labs, so I know all about the raising and training of them

I will be having a litter of pups soon. Should be good hunters since both parents do.

When is your due date? Are you gonna get the epidural or go all-naturale'?

I have a British Lab. He's 2 right now and has never been any trouble at all and never torn up anything in the house. British are suppose to be much calmer than others. He is also a little smaller which is what I wanted. He's about 60-65 lbs.
Also, a very good friend of mine got a lab from the pound. I don't know how well they trained the dog but it tore up all kinds of stuff in their house. It even chewed a hole in their outside door. The dog was about 6 and the dog had to have surgery on its knees. It was about 1500 per knee. I say this to say you don't know what type of genetics you are getting in a rescue lab.
