We sold an extra one last year at a red light for 300 clams. I'm sure we could have gotten more. L

Can someone enlighten me on the appeal of getting the opportunity to get to see golfer's practice hitting around some golf balls? I just don't get it.

Nobody is on the course. Honestly it's amazing. Taking your kid there is as good as it gets. They get to just stand off the side of the green and the players walk right up to them say hey and sign something. The idea of the practice rounds is also that they take time out to sign and be around fans.

You said you were done with golf for the year.

So, those tickets are basically mine.

For me it's more about going to Augusta and walking the course, eating pimento and cheese sandwiches and drinking (relatively) cheap beer. I went last year and had a blast.

I was at the British Open this week. I walked with tom lehman for a couple holes on tuesday. I literally stopped walking with him because it was somewhat awkward that I was the only person following him.

It's next year Net. I'll be a golfing mofo next year.

And the appeal is that it fricking awesome. The course, the players, the egg sammiches, beer, grass, everything. It is probably the most well ran anything in world. They can process thousands and thousands of people with incredible efficiency. It's an amazing thing to witness, whether you're a golf fan or not.

When large numbers of a certain 'like minded' group of people get together to accomplish anything, it can be amazing.

I thought the same thing about the rail system in Europe.

I'd give my left nut for us to have anything like that.
