Ever been infuriated at a restaurant before?
I got a burger for lunch and it was so greasy the bottom bun was dripping wet.
Also, my wife's pizza was a totinos frozen pizza I swear they just sprinkled cheese and bacon bits to hide it.
Anyone else have an enraging experience recently?

The Beachhouse in Mandeville is terrible.
There are too many good options at a reasonable price near there to eat at Beach House. I have heard it has gotten better, but it is ridiculously overpriced for bar food and the service is consistently the worst in Mandeville.

I don't know about infuriated, but who hasn't had a terrible restaurant experience before?
ETA: The last time I can remember was at that sushi place off of Essen and I-10. Terrible service all around.

Curious because I usually just keep on trucking through Mandeville and try not to stop.

It was in March, I think it was Omi already, and it was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had. In terms of the service... the food was good, when we got it.

mine was an awful grease bomb with a bunch of greasy fries and greasy onion rings.

Red Lobster. I have been to them before, not by choice, but the one in Baton Rouge sucked really bad. Horrible service, crowd, and food.
Also not a big fan of Las Palmas. All their food comes from a can and is junk. There are way better and fresher Mexican food options in the Baton Rouge area

yeah, there are a few (just speaking in the old mandeville area)...especially at/near sunset
Barley Oak has $2.50 briskit or chicken tacos on the weekends, a solid cheese board and their bugers are good too. McClaren's pizza is right across the street from Beachhouse and a MUCH better dining option.
The Scott's coffee bar does Tappas occasionally and it's good too.
There are certainly things that are good, but worth a specific stop...not sure.
ETA - I did a review earlier today of the Lakehouse and their Sunday lunch special (three course meal for $18.40)....that place was REAL solid

Romano's Pizza in Lake Charles. That place can't even open the doors on time. I give it 6 months until it is an empty space amid the resurgent downtown area.

bar service is always a joke and the food simply isn't good.
Also Applebees.. I will never walk in one again.
