So what's the damage to date on your wallet from the Steam Sale?

SIAP.

$73.20, but about half of that was Skyrim: Legendary Edition. Which I'll need some guidance on mods soon.

Steam was a lot more tame this time without the publisher bundles and what not.

I dropped about $80. Not as bad as I have been in the past with these sales and what's sweet about it is I bought probably 15 games or more. Used to only get 1 1/3 console games for that price.

I'm slowly converting from consoles. Other than exclusives, games my buddies will play mostly on consoles, and games I can't run on my medium rig (iMac) Ill be on pc a lot more. It's ridiculous how much I've saved for the games I got, as compared to how much I've spent on console games in the past. The Xbone policy change is starting to hit me hard now

Fill me in. How does the Xbox policy change effect prices?

M$ originally wanted the 1 to basically be a steam box type device.. the general public misunderstands their intentions and freaks out about it "oh noez you have to be online all the time NOOOOOOOOOOO" and m$ decides to scrap the whole idea..

Mods are easy and awesome. Just click the game and go to the steam workshop and voila.

Probably $80

Just curious, how do we know that the prices would have been any better?

I am seriously curious about it though.
I was hoping to ask that here instead of starting a thread because this would attract less attention.

It's an assumption based on other platforms that have used similar restrictions. No actual information.

For the Steam Sale, I spent $10 on 4 games (one was a small Sega Genesis collection though).

$113.20. I got 30 games though, so it's not bad per game
