Landon Donovan Goal Celebration Poster

When Landon scored his breakaway goal and celebrated in the rain, his iconic pose reminded me of the climatic scene in my favorite movie, The Shawshank Redemption.
It would look awesome if his goal celebration was imposed on the movie poster and retitled to The Landycakes Redemption. This would make a sick computer/phone background FWIW.
Maybe this is better served for the Fark Board, but I thought this was a pretty sick idea.
Here is a link to the celebration:

Thanks for any help.

It reminded me of shawshank too. Unirunately I can't help you in the fark department but I agree it would make for a cool picture. Landon giving us all kinds of Internet ammo between this and landyshades

I probably need to wait a day or two for the google images to surfaces of his Christ like celebration.

Yeah, but he has always been the type of guy to draw on emotion when necessary, and when he does it, he goes into full, "frick everything" mode

He seems to be having more fun though which is awesome cause it seemed like he forgot how fun soccer can be and just saw it as a job. You don't get the name landyshades without having a little fun.

Yep, go back to the Scotland friendly from last year – one of the last games before the sabbatical – and he shows hardly any emotion despite scoring a hat trick in that game.
Fast forward to this tournament and the old Landon Donovan appears to be back with the emotions and dry humor.

I'm enjoying his anger and celebrations being exaggerated on the field
I was laughing as he told Menjivar to suck a bag of dicks when all that shite was being thrown at him

quote:Bingo. I said this before the GC started that I hope him being froze out by Jurgy re-lit his competitive fire and he'd come out for the GC with a vengeance.. and he's done just that. You could tell something was off during that Scotland friendly.. He looks like the old Landon again, and never again will I doubt his pace.. the dude can still flat out fly!
