I would like to read the texts of TM.

If those we're leaked I think we could put an end to this sad story and racial friction going on right now. MoM suggested many were full of fighting and other negative examples of his true character .

I keep thinking "this is for Trayvon"...protest and attacks ...

Never happen. Wouldn't be flattering to the narrative.

re: I would like to read the texts of TM.

quote:

In other pictures, Martin is pictured making obscene gestures in an apparent self-portrait, as well pictures showing him with friends and in other settings.

The text messages include a conversation from November 2011 in which he appears to say his mother has kicked him out of the house after "da police caught me outta skool."

"So you just turning into a lil hoodlum," the person with whom he is texting says.

"Naw, I'm a gangsta," the text message read.
In other messages, text message exchanges appear to be discussing guns.

"U wanna share a .380 w/ (blacked out)," one text message sent from Martin's phone reads.

Is the defense trashing Trayvon Martin? Court evidence angers Martin family Zimmerman's brother slammed for tweets O'Mara: Evidence shows Trayvon attacked

The text messaging logs are also peppered with references to marijuana use.

"I got weed nd I get money Friday," a message sent from his phone reads.

"I hid m weed," another text sent from Martin's phone reads. "its wrapped."

The attorney for Martin's family, Benjamin Crump, says the evidence is "irrelevant" and predicted it would never be used at Zimmerman's trial.
Zimmerman to argue self-defense, will not seek 'stand your ground'

"Is the defense trying to prove Trayvon deserved to be killed by George Zimmerman because (of) the way he looked?" Crump said in a statement released Thursday.

"If so, this stereotypical and closed-minded thinking is the same mindset that caused George Zimmerman to get out of his car and pursue Trayvon, an unarmed kid who he didn't know. The pretrial release of these irrelevant red herrings is a desperate and pathetic attempt by the defense to pollute and sway the jury pool."

Instead, he said, jurors will focus on Zimmerman's arrest for battery on a police officer, a domestic violence injunction and other issues he said demonstrate a "propensity for violence."

Zimmerman's defense also released Thursday a handwritten note that was allegedly written by someone who was on the phone with Martin when the confrontation with Zimmerman took place.

Arrest 'solely to placate the masses," Zimmerman's mother writes

The note, dated March 19, 2012, is not addressed to anyone in particular and it's not clear why the person wrote it.

It reads: "He started walking then noticed someone was following him. Then he decided to find a shortcut cause the man wouldn't follow him. Then he said the man didn't follow him again. Then he looked back and saw the man again. The man started getting closer. Then Trevon turned around and said why are you following me!!

"Then I heard him fall, then the phone hung up. I called back and (not legible) no response. In my mind I thought it was just a fight. Then I found out this tragic story."

Gun, drug texts feature in new Trayvon Martin shooting evidence

Why?

Are texts what caused Zimmerman to assume that TM had no right to walk through that neighborhood without being confronted?

Some were posted on the OT. Multiple references to the pseudo fight club, his mom kicking him out of her house for fighting, possession of drugs at school and possession of stolen jewelry at school.

Not at all. They are relevant to whether Trayvon could have started the altercation when the early narrative was that he would never/could never fight Zimmerman when that was clearly not the case.

Define "started".

If Zimmerman doesn't follow him for no reason then none of this ever happens

According to the evidence Zimmerman did not confront Martin, but I do agree Martin's text should not have been brought into the case.

or we could say that if TM hadn't been suspended from a school 200 miles from where he was killed then none of this ever happens.

Just how far do we go back to justify our claims?

In the words of Ms. Jeantel, "that's not bash, that's whoopass."

Very true. Zimmerman likely acted stupidly. It's a tragedy that any of it took place.

The only forensic evidence and eyewitness testimony points to Trayvon being the fight aggressor, though. Interestingly, Jeantel now says she believes that Trayvon started the fight. Of course, she's told approximately 87 different versions of what she heard so no one can say which is true.

This! The justifications to blame one side or the other in a horrible case (tragic and should not have been prosecuted) are over the top!

There is no evidence available that shows Zimmerman confronted anybody. May that would be evidenced in the texts if they get out, but I doubt it because all the evidence we have points to the unmistakable conclusion that TM confronted GZ.

Why do you people keep perpetuating these lies?

I think the subject matter of the text go to the character issue of Travon and how the media tried to portray him differently than who he truly was to influence the public and perhaps the trial.

I don't understand why not, Mike. It seems indicative of Martin's mindset as it relates to the likelihood of him being aggressive. Of course, *seems* is problematic. Still, those texts go to the heart of the issue...who initiated the violence.

Jeantel said, just the other day...that she believed that Martin threw the first punch. He was out to put "whoop-ass" on Z for being dis-respected.

One big batch of bullshitee...like the OJ thing. Sew the wind...reap a whirlwind. They better tamp this thing down...or they'll get their "fundamental transformation". Just won't be the one they imagine.

They have parades just for "buttfrickers"? What are they like? Are there fireworks too? Do the Shriners participate? Are there lots of clowns or just you?

This is completely irrelevant. GZ wasnt breaking any law. So if i walk in Mcdonalds and get shot, can the shooter say, "Well if he didnt come in here, he couldnt have possibly been shot" In the eyes of the law, this is the same thing

So, if someone is following you it's okay for you to punch them since they started it by following you? What kind of idiot would even think that??

But Zimmerman followed him for multiple reasons. One, he was a neighborhood watcher and that was his responsibility. Two, Travon was an unfamiliar face. Three, Travon was in the vicinity of a home that had previously been burglarized. How is this not reasons?
