Good place to catch crabs with nets near madisonville?

Since the pier is closed, we tried sunset point in mandeville and had zero luck. Any other ideas nearby?

used to go to the mouth of the Tchefuncte like 10 years ago, the little docks under that pavillion thingy (may be gone now after storm, been a while)
