I really believe we will be improved on both sides this year. Especially on sacks. Hunter could be one of the best ever to play at LSU.

Probably eyeball test only.

Look, I'm not really worried about the d-line. I think our overall LB play this year will be able to bail them out for a change.

I disagree. Mingo had one of the quickest first steps I have seen in a while. I know Rasco doesn't have that quickness. Hunter, I don't know....As far as Montgomery, pre-injury I would take him over Rasco and Hunter at this point.

They need to prove themselves on the field before I think they are better than Mingo-Mont.

I hope your right and your magic 8 ball tells truths.

We will be fine on the D line. Ego and Freak will make things a lot easier for them.

Mingo/Montgomery didn't exactly lead the world in sacks or tackles.

But did lead in tv commentators constant praise.

Look I'm not worried about the D line either but please fix that terribly shitty thread title.

All they have to prove is they won't take a lot of plays off.

Nothing like unbridled optimism. Hunter was a beast on special teams but I'm not sure he ever played a meaningful snap on defense last year.
