When has he been acting like he was doing amazing. All he talks about is trying to get better. You are talking as if he's out here saying he's the next thang smoking/next train out the station. Take ya blinders off bitch and think logically. He's not out here acting as if he needs to be crowned, and you have yo crown him. We remark about his work ethic and his attitude and you come in the thread blasting hate juice all over the place.

You're right, i'm wrong. Rivers is a monster and Monty should have praised him for his above average performance in summer league.

Rivers is driven and a competitor. All accounts have been that he's worked his arse off since last season. His work ethic has never been questioned.
He's confident. That's not the same as arrogance. He acknowledged that he has to compete and get better to earn playing time, he doesn't think its simply owed to him.

Understanding your deficiencies as a player and doing the things necessary to get better are how players get better. AR understand he has holes in his game and is blatantly telling y'all he will improve in those aspects. It's one thing to hate on a guy who isn't trying to improve, it's another to flame a guy who shows how much more he want to become through practices and SL. Everyone needs to understand he's not that good yet, put try to understand what he cold become with his hard work. You have to respect that.

Just don't get why you're dogging Rivers for having a great work ethic and the attitude you'd want from any young player. Seriously, what about his comments were so bad? I really don't think that when he said he's a monster that it meant he was satisfied with how he is playing.
