Baton Rouge lost another great food truck to New Orleans!
he posted this on his FB page.

I'm happy for him, but I really loved having his pizzas once a week.

Wise, a new one opened 24 hours ago.

Don't get me wrong. I'll give it a shot. It's always received good reviews here.

Did it say when it was coming down?

I don't blame him. He was scared of "The Don" of the pizza business...

Man...this is really disappointing. Good for him but BR - and his business - is going to suffer because of this move.

Does curbside only do special events in BR now?

BTW, you can't blame a guy for wanting to move from a truck to a brick and mortar. Blame the dipshit drunk driver that almost ruined his livelihood.

This. And anyone that thought Curbside was staying in BR was just fooling themselves. Nick is a NOLA guy. Nothing wrong with going home.

This is all true, but he did pretty much say that he would keep up a largely permanent presence in BR.

That location seems like a big roll of the dice.

It is indeed sad that hip places fear opening brick and mortar joints in BR. It's a weird phenomenon for a college town.

Well, I wish him luck, yet I wish he would stay in BR.

As long as Mama Della's does not close, we are still good.

Odd location, very close to central city. But he could get a good run off from people heading uptown after being out in the WHD. And I bet he'll do a decent lunch business too.

Yeah, I'm not in love with that location either.

Nothing in that spot seems to do much.

That being said, if this place is for real he could change that around. I believe 1205 St. Charles is that large condo complex. Plenty of residents already there.

I'll give it a try. Sounds like 5 weeks?
