The guy is an idiot! If you asked the Falcon fans they would trade Ryan for Brees. I can see Brady because he has a lot of records and 3 SB rings, but none of the others have the yards but Manning and he could be on the down due injury.

Ranking Joe fricking Flacco ahead of Brees is a joke

i could understand the argument of putting Ryan ahead of Brees if you put last season in a bubble (still think it is stupid)

Flacvo has yet to put together an entire season. A playoff run doesn't make someone an elite QB. I'm not even sure if he is top 10; however, the top 4 are obvious and pretty interchangeable

Tier 1 - Hall of Famers
1. Rodgers
2. Manning
3. Brees
4. Brady

Tier 2 - established QB's - good to great play
5. Eli
6. Ryan
7. Romo
8. Big Ben
9. Schaub
10. Flacco (borderline at best IMO)

Tier 3 - all potential
11. Wilson (better than Flacco, but unproven)
12. RG3 (better than Flacco, but unproven)
13. Luck (better than Flacco, but unproven)
14. Stafford (1 great season, bad luck)
15. Cam
16. Kap (better than Flacco, but unproven)

Tier 4 - inconsistent. Some good play mixed with terrible play
17. Rivers (has been better than Flacco for most of his career)
18. Dalton - pretty similar to Flacco without the ring and without the rocket for an arm. Good but not great.
19. Freeman
20. Bradford

etc.

Drew Brees losing to the Chiefs last year did him no favors.

obviously Chiefs > Falcons since we beat the Falcons

The chiefs put up 510 yards on us...forgot how much worse our D was at the beginning of the year, and that is saying something.

Also I remember how much better the O played once we actually had our offensive line coach back. We were essentially short staffed the whole season and still went 7-8 with a hard schedule

I quit paying attention to any sort of list outside of the CFB Top 25 when I saw a "top 5 college football players" list and Clowney was #5.

That makes complete sense...
3/5 top passing yardage seasons of all time totally equals #6

not to mention breaking Marino's hallowed record each of the last 2 years...

frick Jaws

Was it Jaws that was the Quaterback during the miracle of the meadowlands debacle. If he is it would make a great gif.

Yeah, but he was on the WINNING team.

Watching the Brady piece, Jaws acts like Brady is the Offensive Coordinator, emphasizing sets and match ups. This isn't 1969 where the QBs are calling plays. Does he forget there are speakers in the helmets telling them what to look for pre snap?

just had to come @ your response again.

I mean really. Why are so many people upset that Ryan was ranked over Brees, especially after LAST YEAR. No one is saying Ryan > Brees all time. Just based on power rankings Ryan had a right to be ranked over Brees.

Its just one year. Its ok to say Ryan was "better" last year.

Drew has a chance to prove that he's better than Ryan this year...a chance..

The refs taking away the Pierre Thomas TD lost us the game.

Matt Ryan is Romo 2.0. To even compare him to Brees is laughable.
