i guess this may seem a little wierd, but it's seasons like this one that have me so less stress than seasons where my expectations are "n.c. or bust".

i am looking forward to this season more and more but, my expectations are at bay and it feels so much more relaxing.

I don't stress about things over which I have no control.

I wouldn't call it stress, but you're right on with the expectations in that they aren't through the roof. There is a good bit of unknown which I am looking forward to.

My doctor told me it would be best if I just didn't watch LSU games anymore.

well, it is possible that we can become stessed with expectations during the season. i remember in 03 not having n.c. expectations until after the zona game. that's when i realized that we were fricking great.

I feel more heightened anticipation about the unknown. All these "weaknesses" will be all but forgotten after the first few games.

Seasons like this are a lot better than ones where we're supposed to win like 2007. That season was enjoyable but awful.

Nobody is giving us a shot, and we're better than people think. That's my kind of season!

I always have high expectations. Everybody has just raised the bar of expectations to 12-0 sec title natl title. 10 win seasons are great. I just really wanna beat Bama! Too much can geaux wrong to say where we will be at after the regular season. I believe if we get jh33 back and our o-line stays in tact, a nat'l title is reachable. Our defense won't have to carry the same load as they did last year bc CC will turn this offense into top tier. The long sustainable drives will be there and our defense will be rested. Last year, our defense was pimped out in each and every loss. You won't see that this year. A healthy LSU wins it all! Geaux Tigers!!

Looking forward to the start of another season. But, my expectations for LSU are modest this year.

It just feels like we are going the wrong way. Bama, TAMU, Georgia, SC are all moving up. Feels like we are moving down.

Season hasn't started yet, or so I'm led to believe.

I don't stress over football anymore. 2011 I was pumped because Lee was playing well and everything was perfect. As soon as #9 was installed back on the team my cares went away and I watched us get worse without any coaching corrections at all. After that Jan 2012 I gave up hope of a Miles team meeting my expectations. 10-2, 9-3 is our future and I'm fine with it I guess. I don't get as excited about it anymore though.
