Strangely enough, it's actually NOT being done by Pixar. However, it is loosely based on a Cars short called "Air Mater" I believe. John Lasseter is involved, but through Disney Toons. I don't quite get it... Wonder if Disney is making changes? I also noticed that this movie is PG. Wonder why???

It was supposed to be a straight to DVD movie, but it turned out decent enough to get a theatrical release.
