Worst sitcom of the late 80s/90's/00's?

I would have to say, Home Improvement.

Every episode, Ray would do/say something stupid and wrong and his wife, Roseanne, would say something condescending or that Urkel would come in and provide some cheesey slapstick comic-relief.

I found the show incredibly unrealistic, even if it was about anthromorphic dinosaurs.

Funny.

Nostalgia aside, and I watched my fair share of those shows, it really was an era of terrible sitcoms. Most sitcoms in history are bad, though.

So your parameters are only that a show needed to have aired in 80s, 90s, or 00s?

The Tortellis, the Paul Reiser Show, Caroline in the City, Good Morning Miami, the list goes on.

You may not like the show, but it isn't "easily" the worst of the 00's

Full House
Mr. Belvedere
Silver Spoons
Family Matters
Alf

I can't think of all of them, but pretty much most of the 80's sitcoms were awful.

Nothing from back then can really hold a candle to Modern Family, HIMYM, The Big Bang Theory etc. Shows like Full House and Family Matters were just terrible. I get why 9 year olds like watching them, but wtf were adults supposed to watch back then?

No matter how many times these threads pop up - there is still only one answer:

Small Wonder

Sure it is, easily. Like, it sits on an awful pedestal all by itself (well, ok, maybe it shares some space with Treme). I'd venture to say it's the worst show in the history of television, not just the 00s.

Small Wonder was pretty awful. The acting was terrible.

Just the Ten of Us was really bad. It was a spinoff of Growing Pains. That tells you a lot right there. And again, horrid acting.

Top of the Heap was also really bad. It features a before Friends Matt LeBlanc. It was a Married with Children spinoff. I remember it had a really loud obnoxious laugh track and a couple of morbidly obese characters and all they did was talk about food.

Nothing was worse than the last few years of Family Matters. Cloning, shrink rays, time travel, etc.
