LINK

I haven't seen anything posted about this, and the search feature is still terrible so forgive me if this is Germans. I just saw this today, but I guess it could have been discussed a while ago.

I enjoy the hell out of Shawn of the Dead and Hott Fuzz, so I can't wait for this.

Seriously. I think Edgar Wright is probably the most gifted man in comedy today. His films are just so funny, so ridiculous, incredibly well edited, and incredibly layered. You notice something new each time you watch the film and it makes you laugh out loud. The guy clearly does his research for any genre he attacks and pays homage to.

I didn't like Paul, but I loved Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. I'm game!

But he was involved with Scott Pilgrim, which was awesome.

I know he completely shelved the Ant-Man script to work on this, but recently was able to complete what I guess is an early draft.

Word.

And looks like Paddy Considine is getting a bigger role, that guys does nothing but good work. His small role in HF was hilarious.

Honestly, Wright has made 3 of the ten best comedies of the past 10 years. Whenever he stamps his name on a comedy, my expectations skyrocket.

And he delivers. Shaun of the Dead is maybe the best zombie flick ever made, and it's a comedy spoof.
