My virtual "select a seat" upgrade window happened at 2 PM. Staying put but figured I'd check out what's available around the arena. Looks like sales are doing good in the lowers. Baseline C and the cheap Clubs are all gone it appears and not many giant empty blocks.

Two minute video of the interface and the inventory. I didn't complete the circle around the bowl...I got lazy

If you have season tickets log on to your account and look for the virtual select a seat button on the left.

I got this email on the 12th:

Dear macatak911,

We would like to take this opportunity to once again thank you for being a part of this exciting time in Pelicans history. Our organization is grateful for your continued support.

Since acquiring the franchise, it has been our goal to deliver an NBA Championship to the Gulf South. While we continue to build and develop our team on the court, construction is progressing on a two-year renovation project that will elevate the customer experience to a new level. This undertaking will transform the New Orleans Arena into an iconic sports venue that will be among the finest in the NBA.

We are committed to offering our loyal season ticket holders several exclusive benefits, including the first opportunity to relocate their seats into open locations if they so choose. However, due to the aforementioned construction at the New Orleans Arena, our annual Select-a-Seat event will be offered online for our customers through a new 3-D interactive experience. You will be able to see available seat locations as if you were within the Arena itself, giving you a quick and convenient opportunity to view and choose the seating options perfect for you.

To participate in this year's virtual Select-a-Seat, you will need to login to your account at Pelicans.com on or after your scheduled appointment day and time of 7/15/13 2:00 PM.

Hm, wonder why I don't have that? Probably because I'm a first timer. This isn't your first year I'm guessing?

Are yall in the 300s? My current seats are in 118. The entire upper level is blanked red so maybe they are going lower then upper.

When it shows your account detail, do you have to select your current seats and click "upgrade" just to see the inventory? I do not want to accidentally release my seats.

You can see the inventory without upgrading. In order to upgrade you have to select the new seats you want and go through a checkout process. Until you do that, your old seats remain yours.

It's different people for different days. Length of STH, lower bowl, etc.
