The purpose of this post is to show how Cotton an ex Tiger is doing in his professional career. Not what could have been.

And here come all the tards saying he should have started in the post season.

What about the posters who said it before last season even started? Im not bashing Maineri, I just have a different philosophy in that regard. I believe your best pitchers should be at the top of the rotation. It cost us in Omaha last season and cost us the year before we won the national championship last time(Coleman).

Pitching was not the problem at all in Omaha, if you really think that, then I'm sorry.

Why would you admit to this? Most regular season wins ever for an LSU team and an SEC tourney win. If you really made that suggestion, you looked like an idiot for the entire year. But now you want to gloat because PM didn't completely change his pitching philosophy for Omaha? As if that was really the problem?

Didn't say it was the only problem, but when your starter goes out and gives up a few runs in the first inning, it can change the momentum of the game. I just like the idea of having two studs at the top of the rotation come tournament time. I think we would have been more formidable with Coleman and Bradford starting as I believe we would have been more formidable with Nola and Cotton this past season. Obviously there isn't one way to do it, but I like this approach.

After seeing this article and the performance of Jarred Cosart the other day, I see a glimmer of hope out of my office window coming from the intersection of Crawford and Texas.
