I had someone offer to buy my original copy of Suikoden II for $150 a couple of years ago. I don't know how bad the gouging is now, but that seemed like a reasonable exchange to him at the time.

No, I didn't sell it.

Damn. At least Persona 2 is on there. The cost of that game is usually up there as well.

I've said before and I'll say it again, unless you really want retro visuals, get the PSP remakes. Improved a lot on both Persona 1 and 2.

I would do that, but I don't have a PSP.

SCEA had a very, very dumb policy to combat ports on PSP. There's a rule now that can't just be a straight port anymore from console -> handheld. There has to be some type of extra content, which is why Suikoden I+II PSP never got brought over.

SCEE doesn't have that policy, so the new Tales of Eternia and Breath of Fire 3 are importable.

I forgot to add Breath of Fire 3 as well. I've played all but 2 and 3.

Your backlog is huge like mine.

I will say that the first two Ys are both short. First should take around 5-6 hours to beat and the second around 10-12.

I know man. I'm just always so busy and never have time to enjoy a good, lengthy RPG. I do not want to get one started then have to abandon it.

I know the feeling. I've started too many games only to stop 30 hours in.

I've been doing a ton better at clearing through my backlog. Beat a little over two dozen games this year and most of them have been RPGs.

I've got a ton that aren't RPGs I still need to beat. Tomba, Klonoa, every Kirby, Echo Night, RE:3, Pac-Man 2.

Also fantastic.

If you haven't played it before, Wild Arms is pretty damn good and is (or was) available on PSN.

It's not really an RPG, but if you haven't played and beaten Final Fantasy Tactics, you should do so.

Still gonna say play Suikoden I and Suikoden II first.

What pics and videos I've seen of Grandia, it looks awesome. I try not to watch too many review videos since they are often loaded with spoilers.

Grandia is quite good too, out of your mix, I'd probably drop it in the next tier.

I do this too. Something usually pisses me off and next thing I know, I haven't revisited the game in years (ie. my Suikoden I situation I mentioned earlier in this tread)

Me too. I just don't have the time to invest. Hell, I haven't been able to beat Dishonored yet and it's at most a 10 hour game.

Games like Earthbound, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy X, and ChronoCross I'm sad to say I've never beaten.

I have done very similar myself. I have to include FFVI and Chrono Trigger to my unfinished list though...sad, I know
