Yeah, that was odd to me too. They didn't even show how he got to him. That is super rare. They got a lot of drama to fill in this season, but I want to see these scenes too.
It's not about the kill to dexter at this moment, but next week looks like a nice wrench.

Yeah, I haven't watch all of seasons 6 and 7 yet, but I'd still say this is already shaping up to be the craziest season. Dr. Vogel isn't just some random psycho supporting character; she's the key to Dexter's background and development as a killer.
