I went to fan day last year. Its a trainwreck. Stood in Miles line for 3 hrs. He was about 20 min late and that the only autograph my kid got. Very crowded and just a waste of time to be honest.

That was before the Chick-fil-A meltdown. You should be able to walk right up to Les now and chat for an hour.

You can't show up a half hour before the doors open and expect to be towards the front. We got there 2 hours before and were about 100 back.

Show up hours early, bring a chair and snacks for the kids, and you'll get more than one signature.

Fan day was much better when it was in Tiger Stadium. Still a waste of time though.

Thinking about Fan Day reminds me of a Yogi Berra saying:
"Nobody ever goes there anymore...it's too crowded!"

For youngsters it's great to see the players up close but they usually can't get that close to them.
