Rams uniform change after winning the Super Bowl

Why would they do this. It was the best season in team history, why change a thing? Has this ever happen in pro sports history?

Kind of the reverse of what the Broncos did after the 96 season. Went through a huge uni overhaul and immediately won their first two Super Bowls.
Can't think of a team changing right after winning it all like the Rams though

That's not the 2000 Rams uniform. The 2000-2001 jersey had a vertical gold stripe under the arms.

Why, Frontierre wanted flashier look and wanted to get rid of LA ties. It was approved by NFL soon as the Puma deal was signed.

they are actually changing their unis, i believe for 2014 season, and rumors are, they will go back to the fearsome foursome unis.

Yes. 96 was a great regular season and Denver lost home field to a fricken Jaguars in the second or third year. Uniform change, 2 Super Bowls. Still a coincidence.
