Do they list them on craigslist or is there a certain protocol that is followed?

I know there are several huge bank repo boat companies in Florida. Have heard it is the place to go, if looking for a repo. Sorry not sure of your area. But I've talked to a few folks how had good luck in fl, boats needed some maintenance, but was well worth it.

Can you gain access to them via the internet? If the deal is good enough I wouldn't mind the drive.

I believe so. The people I know, are in Atlanta, and it was well worth it. Both bought 2000s cabin cruisers for under 20k and were worth very much more than that. When I searched a while ago there were deals, but if I recall correctly it was on a monthly or bi monthly thing.

I've heard from several people that a man can find excellent deals on boats in Florida due to their piss poor economy the past 5 years or so. I'm interested in this route in a few months as well.

I did a bit of browsing on the net last night and from what I understand you can call up the banks and inquire directly. Though, I'm not sure what department to ask for. A few years back I worked for a company who had a credit union and on occasion we would get emails about sales on repo cars and boats.

Try National Liquidators. I've bought boats from there before. And they are a steal...

Looked like they had some nice boats on that site, but most seem to be a lot bigger than what I'm looking to get into.

Looking for something 18-20'.

Gotcha...

just keep checking Hull Truth, LA Sportsman, Craigslist, etc. And check with your local sheriff's department... something will turn up eventually...

We do preservation work and come across stuff ppl left behind. Just got onboard doing cleanups and i know there are boats tools appliances mowers etc ill have to dispose of. I can let u know if we come across anything. Cant guarantee the quality of anything but it would be free if u want to haul it

Last night I checked a few websites of credit unions and saw a handful of repos for sale, but is there any place with a comprehensive list?
