All we need is a WWII era biological weapon to start killing wildlife and people and we'll have a Clive Cussler plot.

They tried last year but didn't make much headway before winter. Recent warm spell helped this summer.

There are several of these crashes on glaciers that were never recovered. NW 4422 was partially recovered on Mt. Sanford 50 years after the fact..

Most likely. The flight path between Anchorage and Juneau probably has a lot of aircraft and bodies buried in the glaciers around Prince William Sound. It's part of the "Alaska Triangle." LINK

In 2007, Alaska state troopers added 2,833 missing person notices to their Missing Persons Clearinghouse that maintains all related information [source: Alaska Governor's Office]. In a state with just over 670,000 residents, that figure averages out to about four in every 1,000 people.

You're thinking "Flight of the Phoenix". That was in the Sahara.

John Wayne crashed this one..."Island in the Sky".

Just goes to show that the glacier is back to 1952 thickness.

Why would NUMA be searching for a plane crash? Did the biological agent somehow start leaking into a water source?
