Kentavius Street, Gerald Willis III , Deondre Clark

Do you move one from DE to put them all on the field at one time?

Would QB's shite their pants?

Willis seems destined for a quick pass rushing DT spot to me....

I'm pretty sure we are out of the running on street. He needs to visit for a game to get us back in but he wants to stay close to home

Clark, IMO, will never be a DT at LSU. Hes strictly a pass rusher and has actually measured a little smaller than most people thought he would be. So a kinda "undersized" pass rushing DE.

In a 4-3, I could see Street moving to DT in some packages considereing his height and weight. Hes 6'2 and in the 265lb range. In a 3-4, he would be a DE.

Same with Willis. But, I think Willis would be the 1 guy that could be a DT or a DE in any system and make a pretty easy transition. Same with Godchaux.

Regardless of Street, I think we're ok bringing in extra DEs because between the 2013 class and the projected 2014 class, it appears we are bringing in a number of guys who were originally DEs that may move inside - Lacouture apparently already has and speculation is that Herron is on his way to doing the same. Willis is growing into a gap-penetrating DT, the staff thinks McDowell has the frame to add the weight to be a DT and Godchaux even looks like he might grow into a DT. And Gilmore and Bain are already DTs.

Who is saying that Gerald can't drop a few pounds and be a great defensive end? A player with his talent can adapt unless he grows much bigger than he already is.

IMHO Davon will be better than all 3.

Don't think that is correct. After LSU offered Street, 24/7 raised his interest in LSU to warm, which would put LSU in the top 4. They had him "cool" about 2 weeks ago, so this just happened recently.
