Publix in Daphne did not have any Westbrook. I hope to find some tomorrow on my beer run.

5BD is another Monkeynaut.

What's the prices at Parish Taproom?

Looks like rutiger got you covered.

Someone help me out here with their prices at Parish taproom. I saw the other day $10 for growler refills of Canebrake or Envie. This is refill only ($16 when you first buy growler and fill).

The growler is 64 oz. A six pack is 72 oz. (6x12), and that can be bought for $8.99 at your local store.

What's going on here? Is it supposed to be better in the growler b/c they're pouring it from the tap? At the same time, though, wouldn't you need to drink it all within a day or two because it would lose carbonation?

Would seem to me a growler refill would be priced around $7-8??

ETA: Not trying to bash the Parish guys or suggest they're overpricing. I'm actually planning on meeting a buddy over there later this afternoon. Just asking the question in case anyone here would have an answer as to the reasoning.

Did not. Only stopped at Publix on the way in to get some stuff for poolside. It is about 10-15 minutes out of your way on the way home--worth a stop for sure, especially if your wife is driving. They have stuff on tap and will likely have Snake Handler.

The potential is still there; but it doesn't seem like the management knows how to utilize it.

Envie is 100x's better on tap, so ill go that direction.

As far as canebrake, if I plan on drinking a 6pack in a weekend, I'd get a growler just to help him out.

Could be, but the rent and cost of leasehold improvements have to be very high. I don't see them cracking that nut every month for long.

They had some at Cottage Hill last weekend. I'm going to pop the top on one when I get in from work. I'll let you know how it is.

Maybe not. I just mean how nice the place is and all, if the beer and grub were a little cheaper, and the service a little better, I think it'd be a lot better off.

Question for the DFW crew. I'm going to dinner at Meddlesome Moth tonight...any of y'all been or heard anything? From the sounds of it, they have a good beer selection.
