I don't think he was ever in any real danger of getting his probation revoked for a misdameanor (which Simple Battery is). Nor would that have been the case for someone who wasn't an LSU football player. From a legal stand point, he likely has no more "second chances" left. Football wise, I think Miles will have to suspend him to try to send a message to the team. However, I can't see it being more than 1-3 games which is probably fair.

I sat in Erwin's court one time on jury duty, his son went to Lab School and he was a baseball coach for UHigh summer team back in the day.
