Do they have a flashback/backstory on Crazy Eyes?

Finished episode 8 last night. I'm digging this a lot more than I expected. The characters are all pretty multi-dimensional (except for Pornstache, he's just a rotten a-hole).

It's not supposed to be Jimbo but he said something about her not talking to him about stuff, he already told her about the webcam and masturbation incidents. Or something liek that. It gave me a chuckle.

Just finished Season 1. No spoilers, but I really enjoyed it. I can't wait for Season 2!

Did anyone else find it annoying that spoilers:

Every criminal in there is portrayed to be some misunderstood, but genuinely good person on the outside that got caught in a bad situation? I mean come on, do they think that we can't empathize with a true criminal or a bad person? It isn't necessary to make everyone on this show out to be a hero.......oh accept for the prison guards. They do a good job of demonizing them.

I didn't think about till you mentioned it, but there are a few that definitely admit to their crimes. According to most liberals all inmates are innocent though so you're probly not off in your thinking.

I don't think the white trash crackhead, her name escapes me, is portrayed as misunderstood. She killed an abortion clinic worker b/c she disrespected her, which is the same reason she wanted to kill Piper.

They have 2 decent prison guards, the young guy and the young girl, 2 a-hole prison guards,
Pornstache and Healy. I don't think they demonize all of them.

I think that the idea is that anyone can end up in a bad situation. Like, the girl who ran track. I think that it's just saying that one wrong turn can change your life forever.

I love the fact that she comes from a well-to-do upper class white family

What episode shows her flash back?

Loved the show, I watched the whole season in two days (wife is sick so I'm playing nurse). Crazy eyes is funny as shite, and so is Pipper's brother ( he reminds me a little of Alan from the Hangover). I like Red, and I hope she gets her stroke back.

I watched this series first and enjoyed it so much, I went back and watched House of Cards and Hemlock Grove. Netflix is doing a great job with their programming. I enjoyed House Cards a little better than Orange, but it's close. Hemlock Grove was ... meh.

I finished it and loved it. My question is, I wonder IRL, how many wome would actually have a fling with another woman while in prison. I am pretty sure I would, but the hard core straight as an arrow women, I wonder if they would be tempted? Like Piper says, just for the touch of another person. Opine....

I like that line from 40 Year Old Virgin: It's cool if you like dudes. I've got friend that banged other guys....in jail.

I'm enjoying this so far. Can't stand the methhead fundamentalist though, and Pornstache is quite the douche.

Pennsyltucky becomes pretty important as the season progresses.

The change in Mr Heely is pretty dramatic as well.

He reminds me of Jerry from Parks and Rec, but with a dark side.

That's funny, Heely started off reminding me as Ron Swanson...but he's a lot darker than Ron.

He looks like Jerry to me, and even seems to have some of the same mannerisms. He also comes off as a bit dopey and insecure.

You think when the meth head planned out the attack it went that way in her head? If she aint dead at least she will get a new grill.
