tradition, great education, da' big house, big money boosters, program on the rise, ann arbor, mich.>baton rouge (except for LSU), four seasons of which three are very good...did I mention da' big house?

if LF goes north, at least it won't suck as bad as him going east. capiche?

Sorry, ain't buying most of that. Tradition...when, about 25 years ago. Michigan is hardly on an uptick are they? Won't argue the education point but "da big house"....been there, done that! Been to the "the big house" twice, not on game day, but inside both times. The stadium is an sterile as the Rose Bowl...symmetric stadium which is BBBBOOOORRRRRIIINNNGGGG! The program on the rise? Really, seriously, you honestly believe that? Oh, and Ann Arbor not far from the best city in the US right? That would be DETROIT! It makes New Orleans look like the Emerald City in the Wizard of Oz by comparison.

Thanks but no thanks on your appraisal of that state and the area....been there multiple times and know better.

Doesn't Michigan have a St Aug grad on their staff? I know their RB coach is from Baton Rouge

Word to the wise Peppers. If you want to play with Hand and Fournette(well okay at least LF because I don't think we have a chance in hell with Hand) then come to LSU

He really has a career in comedy if football doesn't work out for him.

My Michigan guy just told me that Leonard is visiting Ann Arbor this weekend.

"I'm getting to travel to places I've never seen before, so it's fun."
LF, 7/9/13

No concern, I don't think...

I heard that he was going to be here in Cleveland this weekend, and he was gonna swing by AA while he's in the area. Interesting to see if he goes back for an official.

Nothing to worry about IMO. Let's for one second assume that Fournette didn't commit to LSU...don't think it is a possibility but just for argument's sake. How long do you think it would take for one of the other elite backs...committed or not...to take a look at the LSU depth chart and the fact that LSU runs more than most teams? About 1.5 seconds! Some think LSU is putting all their eggs in one basket...I don't think so. LSU knows what I believe I know. As long as Fournette doesn't commit to LSU and then renege 1 week before NSD, LSU will get their star running back one way or the other. The stars have been aligned for that to happen and this year there are several good RBs.
