Damn man. I feel your pain. When I was a kid, my brother and I killed a cottonmouth that would have very easily topped the biggest one on record. But we were so scared shitless of it to put it in the canoe it slipped into the water when we tried to get it with paddles, after shotgunning it a couple of times of course, that it slid into the water and we sure as hell weren't going after it. Over six feet and fricking HUGE. Looked like a damn python up on that downed tree.
