Luke Bryan .. with Mrs. Fat Man. At least it's not Neil Diamond.

Barham of AA solo (him playing solo and me flying solo) at Smith's Bar .. oh yeah.

O.A.R. .. nice venue with the wife and sons #2 & #4, plus their ladies .. always a good show.

Don't tell the wife, but it's BJ Barham that I'm psyched up about.

BJ's solo acoustic show is one of the most entertaining shows you'll see. I was crying laughing last time he came through. It's like dysfunctional North Carolina story time

Seen AA twice, first time BJ solo.

Then TT the following week (first time)

Close it with the Wife and I seeing Kenny Chesney, Eli Young and Zac Brown.

I hope Kenny Chesney does Y.M.C.A.

Would very much like to catch one of these shows.

I don't think you'll be bored at the Luke Bryan concert. He puts on a good show and his music isn't that bad. Will be a good deal of lookers, but several teen girls too.

And I seldom use that emoticon.

Her shows are Luke Bryan, Tim McGraw, Sugarland, Lady Antebellum and Darius Rucker. And they're enjoyable enough.

And I'm at Todd Snider, AA, TT, Roger Creager, Elizabeth Cook, Chris Knight. She's fine with me going, just don't make her go with me.

She prefers a show with a seat # and a ticket. I prefer a Honky Tonk with some drinking and dancing ... and I've never given her a reason to be concerned.

No, she doesn't want to see BJ. She just wants me to go and have fun ..

I think she'd enjoy it.. It's like a drunken comedy show with people feeding BJ shots seeing just how drunk he can get.

The acoustic sets are much different IMO. Much more fan interaction and banter.

She's really gonna miss out Fatman, his solo show is a lot of fun

I feel reallllll good about calling out "Fatman, buy me a beer!" because I'm a girl and nobody will deck me. Can't wait.

Gonna be a hell of a show. I think I can honestly call them the best band I've EVER heard. And I consider myself somewhat of a country music historian and connoisseur.

Yeah, I caught Brad Paisley and Chris Young a couple of weeks ago on a Sunday night ... beats watching 60 Minutes.

Yes, it's my kind of fun, but it's not HER kind of fun.

Seriously, she says, "Go, have fun. Just don't make me come with you." Hell, she even drops me off at the shows (cab it home).

Married 34 years, all good ones. Trust me, Doc, I got this.

... called an audible. Mrs. Fat Man not feeling well, so we sold the Luke Bryan tickets for today.

In lieu, I saw Steve Miller Band on infield of Turner Field last night, post-Braves game .. a very enjoyable venue: thousands sitting on their asses in the bleachers, but the infield was maybe only 300 folks, the feel of a club-venue.

#4 son says, "they sound just like they do on their records" .. #2 son replies, "Yeah, old artists do that."
