After watching Holidays highlights he seems like a longer version of Paul with great finishing skills. After reviewing their stats Holiday had the better season with less talent around him.

So am I crazy to say Holiday being only 23 and still with room to improve, he actually surpassing Paul in 13-14 as top point guards on the league?

Yep

He's a nice PG but not elite

What has Paul done that makes him elite?

I think Jrue may have that same skill set, with better attributes

I'm not saying Paul isn't elite

CP3 is on a whole another level than Holiday.

I think Oscar Robertson is a more accurate comparison

Jrue Holiday, 12-13: 3.3 win shares
Chris Paul, 12-13: 13.9 win shares

I like Holiday as well and I'm ecstatic that we got him, but no.

More importantly, if you want to compare to NOLA!ChrisPaul, he had 17.8 and 18.3 win shares during NOLA's brief run in the playoffs with him (07-08 and 08-09 respectively).

Holiday is no CP3 yet. Paul is a top 5 all-time PG, Holiday has the potential to be as good as anybody in the league right now though.
