I've heard 800-900k.

Kids do tend to sign for less when they're being courted with more money than they've ever seen before in an all or nothing type offer.

That's not ridiculous money for any pro team, especially the one that took him.

He was in Boston last night. If we hear of anything it should be today.

I hate MLB and NBA. They need to switch to the NFL rules.

That is 2nd/3rd round slot money isn't it? A lot to give to your 30th round pick.

Yes. Thing is Longhi was arguably one of the top two way players coming out of high school this past year. While he didn't have an incredible senior season he was still pegged anywhere from rounds 3-5 based on his skill set alone.

Of course he dropped due to signability as did Bregman last season. For Nick's sake I hope he doesn't low ball himself on that offer sheet, but at the same time makes the best decision for him.

Well this probably didn't help. He took a physical today in Boston and tweeted:

Literally just had the hottest nurse ever...

Per his Twitter, he was talking about a hot nurse and if he is still in Boston, it would sound to me like he is going through a physical. Just my opinion...

Guess I'm not the only one who picked up on that

If I was considering giving someone a big contract I would like to know before hand that he is fit to carry out his contract.

Yeah they're gonna offer for sure so they give the physical but the question is will he take it?

When this kid eventually retires due to old age, will they say he is Longhi in the tooth?
