Do you know there is a difference between "TEAM" and "PROGRAM"?

Not in any particular order:
1. Alabama
2. LSU
3. Florida
4. Ohio State
5. Texas/Oklahoma

When you say 'program' as opposed to 'team' this makes me think of a period of time. Last 10 years? 30? all time?

You can be mad but they have consistantly won a frick ton of games and are always in the national picture. Usually overrated but so are a lot of teams with high excepatations year in and out

OP added the words "right" and "now", so his question is clearer.

Now that it's clear what OP is asking, I find Oregon, OSU, and Clemson on that list to be laughable.

OSU struggled against bad teams last season and would not have gone 12-0 in this conference.

Oregon lost to Stanford last season. Did the OP see Oregon vs a 7-6 USC? Oregon vs LSU? Oregon vs Auburn? What has Oregon done against teams with strong rushing defenses?

Clemson's dominating win over a beaten up, unmotivated team with an unbalanced offense does not make them a Top 5 team. Sure, the Clemson that beat LSU may have been better than the Clemson that lost to Florida State and South Carolina, but that is unprovable.

1. Alabama
2. LSU
3-5. Don't care

I need more than just one good season to rank teams 3-5. Several former powerhouse programs are down or rebuilding which would affect the rankings of 3-5. No other conference comes near the SEC.

Oregon can't beat stanford on a reg... I have a problem with oregon. They are flashy but this is also a program who got beat by Boise twice

Very true. They are the 1 team outside of the SEC that has a power running game. Defensively, they might not be where some of the SEC teams are. But, they have smart players that run a complex system and are very well coached(Shaw is 1 of the best right now). Stanford is probably the team I respect the most that is not in the SEC.
