Yeah. The rumor mill kicked up Anderson-for-Asik not long ago but there was nothing to it. We resigned Aminu, but I think we're still looking for a defensive 5 and 3-pt shooter at the 3 to add to the rotation.

We really should be trying to convince Houston to trade us Asik. Our division is gonna be the hotbed of centers. Dallas is reportedly interested in Bynum, so that would just add to facing Howard, Duncan, and Gasol all year. I don't want AD to deal with banging with those guys.

I think our biggest problem comes is who do we trade?
Anderson is our best trade asset but we have to get more than a Center like Asik. I think we all believe another 4 or shooter needs to be thrown in somewhere. Houston just doesn't have any shooters (they will trade or we want).
We need a legit starting 3 to be in the top 5 in the West.

It's clear that this year isn't the finished product. We are still acquiring talent and assets.
This year it's a stopgap at 5.

We are going to slow the shite out of AD's development if he's out there with Bynum, Gasol, Dwight, etc etc leaning on him and banging with him too much. He's got to be able to move around and roam the baseline.

Yeah...I'd really like to nab a center before this all done. I think even letting a stopgap play there for a year to let Davis stay at the 4 would be huge.

I think J Smith is a solid PF backup. Can still space the floor, just not as far as Anderson.
