Any insider information on David Tom's academy/practice course in Shreveport? Target date to open is in August of this year...From his twitter page it looks like they are finalizing the sprigging and dumping water.

The website lists different "membership" ranks, but no prices yet. I hope it can live up to itself, has great potential in the area.

I'm looking at getting my son in one of the junior programs once it is up and running, but I haven't heard much about it lately.

I heard he's in negotiations to hire BeaverPRO due to his willingness to charge anyone and everyone that walks through the doors.

Twitter - getting money refunded since 2013.

I think it will be great for kids. Hope its around when my daughter gets old enough. I remember going to the Querbes summer camp every year as a kid, this should be a camp x10.

I read that too.

I also heard Tiger Ryno tried to convince him to name the place 465 Into the Wind and Cannot See It Academy, but that it wouldn't fit on the sign.

Toms is having them put up a Kevlar net at the 375 yard marker that is 300 feet high in anticipation of Ryno's pitching wedges.

It is being built right next to my place of business. It looks a long way from being ready.

Yep, it looks to still be in the early foundation stages.

I was thinking an August opening date was a stretch. There is no way you can have sprigged ground playable in 30 days in the middle of summer. I think it will be a while before the clubhouse gets built and opens also.

Ill just sit back and watch

In the Automall. Right after you cross the rail road tracks coming from Hwy 3132 on your right next to Hebert's Town & Country

From what I hear you can be a member at any course in town for what it costs to hit range balls there

That is what I am trying to pin down. I want to know how much this yearly "donation" is going to be.

For those wondering location, like saint said, it is just south (next to) the automall.
