CLM has built a NFL football factory at LSU. This may become the norm at LSU, play'em early get'em to the pros early.

With the 2013 class K. Beckwith, D. Smith, T. White & E. Pocic the talent is still pouring in, not to mention the most talented class in Louisiana football history is due in 2014.

Will this hurt LSUs roster long term or can CLM keep this trend going and win BIG? I would like to see all the guys from the 2012 recruiting class stay thru their senior year, that team would be epic but i know its highly unlikely.

These could be the next LSU players to leave early for the NFL.. No telling who else steps up in the next 2 seasons.

2014 draft- J. Allen, O. Beckham, E Furgerson, J. Hill, Q. Leslie, T. Dickson, K. Hillard, T. Turner, J. Rasco, La'el C., R. Martin, J. Landry and A. Johnson.

2015 draft- R. Fiest, L. Louis, T Dural, K. Alexander, V. Alexander, J. Mills, J. Collins, M. Eugene, K. Holmes, D. Jones & D. Hunter.

Nope. We should try recruiting lousy players so they aren't selected early.

I don't think you can stay dominant and not lose guys to the NFL early.

First, duck.

Second, yes, they can. This is probably the new normal. There will be some who stay and some who go early, but the kids that LSU recruits are extremely talented and the LSU staff does a great job of developing that talent.

It should be a selling point for recruits.

yes. the coaches recruit players that can leave in 3 years. just last season we played more frosh than anyone other than tcu. players usually dont play fir 4 years. it used to be sit for 2-3 years then pkay as an upperclassman. not anymore.

Good players leave early. The more that leave early, the more good players LSU has.

Get used to it.

real question is if we can keep recuiting NFL talent and not win more championships. I think if the offense is fixed, the sky is the limit at LSU.

Thats something i jus do not understand...Saban can keep most of his players maybe losing a few jrs to the draft and keep most of all his dominant players and be dominant year in and year out... i just do not know why we arent able to keep them another year.

It's the way it is and will be for the future

It's why you bring kids in early it's why you count on freshman to contribute early

I see your point but I would word it differently. Reason is that if we keep losing players early it means we are continuing to be dominate. So yes if we keep losing players early we will be awesome.

The question is what happens if we stop losing players early. In other words - can this run of talent continue. It seems for LSU or Bama finally even these greats will end up with too many guys that don't work out and there is a drop - due to talent pool dipping, not due to coaching/developing.

Certain years are weak for say dbs, some years weak for OL and DL. I worry that the pool itself could just hit a cycle that is down for a couple years in a row.

I get your point - I think. and that is: Can we possibly keep getting this high of recruits!! Its Ridiculous!? Its unprecedented.

Theory: LSU's players were tired of Les Miles' coaching blunders and incompetent quarterback play costing them games.

After reading this thread, I'm assuming you Tiger Ranters have put that theory to bed.

If Cam can stick around a few years and get the offense rolling it will do wonders.

it will show les that he needs that big name offensive coach that he can turn over the offense too. So once cam moves on (whenever that may be) the list of OC's should be long and great.
